Showbeyond.com - Tell Stories, Your Stories

This one was submitted through our Startup Submission form, so thank you for that John. Showbeyond.com lets users create their own story using their own photos and apparently other rich media formats. It’s a great concept, and should fly very well in the future. I checked out a few stories that people created and they appear to be slideshows on the web. According to their blog, you can even upload PowerPoint presentations if you have ‘em.
Of course, once your slideshow is created, you can embed it on your MySpace profile, Facebook, etc. You can e-mail it, share it with friends through Instant Messaging programs. This is a great way to continue to build a userbase that Showbeyond has hit on.

How do they make money?
Google Ads
Will this company last 5 years?
If they evolve. This is a great space to be in right now, especially since everyone has a camera phone.
Suggestions for improvements?
Concentrate less on quick monetization through Google ads and focus on building a solid community. Perhaps even allow for MMS photos to be sent directly to the site?
