This is one of the most amazing things that I have ever seen (and I’ve seen quite a few amazing things in my day). I hate helping people with computer problems because they don’t understand my tech-speak and I don’t understand their stupid-speak. Enter Jing Project! If I’m trying to explain to someone how to do something on a computer and they just aren’t getting it, I can do a few screen shots and there’s even a few programs out there that will let me do a video capture of my screen. I would then have to e-mail the file to my distressed colleague and whatnot.
With Jing, it’s all one step and extremely easy. I can screen/video capture my screen (even do a voice over) to explain what I’m talking about and I can automatically share it with my friend (or computer illiterate friend). I suppose technically this isn’t a startup, but it appears to be a product brought to us by TechSmith, so it counts.
What’s the concept?
Screen/video sharing made easy!
Why should you care?
Because you have colleagues that need to see what you’re seeing!
How do they make money?
They don’t
Will this company last 5 years?
This product DEFINITELY will.
Suggestions for improvements?
Monetize this!
