Kidmondo - A journal for your baby
May 3, 2008 – 8:23 pm
Babies are awesome… at least they are to their parents and when it comes to spending on their children, parents know no bounds. Kidmondo is a service that allows parents to track every detail of their baby’s life. From the mundane accomplishments that parents are often too proud of to actual accomplishments that are worthy of note. Parents can upload video, images and even record physical height at different time periods over a baby’s life. They offer different levels of service, from free to $10 per month depending on what you actually want. It’s a pretty cool concept and you should at least check out the free account to show the world that you love your kid!
What’s the concept?
Baby journaling.
Why should you care?
Because your kid is a beautiful and unique snowflake (like all the rest) and you don’t want to lose a moment.
How do they make money?
They have a basic free service, but offer additional upgraded services for a free.
Will this company last 5 years?
I think so. They may not be huge, but they’ve carved a nice little niche for themselves.
Suggestions for improvements?
Integrate with people’s existing lives… Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn?
