This is one of those ideas that really does change the way we all work. Nowadays everyone is buying everything online from a lot of different vendors. It’s great if all you do is shop at one vendor because all of your purchases will be saved and stored at that vendor for you to peruse at your leisure. But what if you’re like the rest of us and shop online from lots of different vendors, tracking it all can be a bit of a headache. Enter shoeboxed, a brilliant startup dedicated to helping you figure out where you spend your money. You create an “@shoeboxed.com” email address that you can send all of your e-receipts to and it will parse through them to figure out what you bought, from where and for how much.
What about your physical receipts? Well, they have a service that allows you to mail in your receipts in and they’ll scan ‘em for you! Brilliant! Of course it costs a few bucks, but that’s okay.
