Repliqa.Com - Finds stuff you’ll like
May 22, 2008 – 7:49 pm
Repliqa.com certainly does have an interesting concept. Basically, the process is this: you register for free, and take a general personality quiz to figure out what your likes and dislikes might be. Some have said this is a highly intuitive system, while others aren’t so sure that’s as effective as everyone else thinks. The creator is very young, so either way, good work for someone who has really just started out in the market. After filling out this quiz/personality test, Repliqa will give links based on what kind of personality you have. At least according to their personality quiz.
There are some concerns expressed by reviewers about whether or not Repliqa will last because, well, once you’ve watched or clicked everything, what else is there? This concern is easily addressed. For one thing, that’s what Start-Up sites are all about. Repliqa’s owner has plenty of time to work new features into the way they compile links, and videos, new quizzes, etc. Repliqa will go a long way as long as the owner keeps on creating more. Frankly, this is just a prelude to what we can expect of him in the future.
What’s the concept?
Register, take the quiz, and discover sites, videos, and links that have been chosen based on your personality.
Why should you care?
Anyone whose ever wondered around looking for something to interest them online should care. Particularly the people whose friends are constantly sending them links to boring videos, with tasteless humor.
How do they make money?
Affiliate links and ads.
Will this company last 5 years?
It’s already become a great tool for many bloggers, so that’s a good sign for longevity.
Suggestions for improvements?
Finding new innovative ways to share videos and links with new members, or members who have already looked at everything.

Good summary!
Pls. be aware that repliqa is currently in alpha. A more complete feature set (Beta) will be released in July. Repliqa has been started by four founders - which all have had successful careers prior to repliqa. For instance the repliqa CEO Mark Seremet is the founder of Take2 (notoriously known for publishing the Grand Theft Auto Game series).

I don’t think the company lasted one month past the publish date of this article.
